Where it all started
Surfista NJ started with a simple idea: what if the best Italian food you ever had was also steps from the beach? Not a white-tablecloth affair — just honest, soulful cooking served with the same ease you feel when you kick off your shoes and walk into the sand.
We opened our doors on Normandy Beach because this stretch of the Jersey Shore has always felt like a secret worth sharing. The kind of place where summers slow down, neighbors become friends, and a good meal turns into a long evening.
Everything on our menu is made from scratch — pasta rolled daily, sauces built from the bottom of the pot, and seafood sourced as close to home as possible. We cook the way Italian grandmothers cook: with patience, with love, and with a healthy disregard for shortcuts.
